Mind discussing what the FG 42 is? Mag looks like one for a full power rifle.

Thumbs up

You'd love it, BRG! An 8mm Mauser caliber full-auto assault rifle for the German parachute troops - the Fallschirmjaeger.
"Fallschirm Gewehr model 42" would be the full designation.

A heavy rifle, but still dificult to control on FA fire. Still, I get wood just imagining shooting one!

thanks for the response. a friend of mine has one w/o the mag, so it is a single shot affair (not very interesting). he would give away his BMW with his wife to drive you around in exchange for a mag. any idea where can we get one?

Who says ya cant trade them?
I have traded them in several times except its all backwards
when you trade in a car ya get something for it.
when you trade in a wife you PAY EXTRA
I started getting married when I was 19 and I am trying to cut down.
