Supposedly, the military is testing it for use in Iraq. I don't know who the manufacturer is.

Bolt catch needs to stay open with an auto release button on the grip.

The track for the clip looked like it could cause problems or a delay in loading.

I agree with this ! That Magazine guide rail was giving the guy trouble and he wasn't under the stress of Battle conditions, If you fell on that and bent that piece you would be SOL and That aint good. I am Not impressed with that design and not having a bolt Catch for the last round, I give it Thumbs Down!

What advantages does this have over the USAS-12 (ash's link), which has existed for some time but was cut off from civilian sales a while back?

Pretty cool. I'd like to blow the crap out of something with that. Like a washer or a TV. I know, that's dumb and hillbilly, but it would be fun.

If the military starts using these things they will be few and far between. The ammo is too expensive. Any clip or drum used won't be sturdy enough. Have you guys ever heard of Farret rounds? We use them in my line of work. They have some that will shoot a blast of CS into a room when you shoot the door. The cool ones have white phosforus (spelling?) imagine shooting your washer with those.

they definately would not be very practical to have on the battlefield, and i could not imagine seeing them in use.
