Dragunov

For quite a number of years I have had an undying interest in a Dragunov, not owning one my self, and never having actually laid my paws on one, I was wondering which of you lucky cats owns\has owned one and how well do\did they group and shoot?

I own one and am very pleased with it. I have the Izmach Russian "Tiger " Carbine with the PS04 Scope. Very Reliable with all brands of ammo and shoots 1-1/2 " groups at 100 yards. The Only drawback is the Eyecup on the scope, It blows my Contact lenses out when it recoils so I have to remove it and I don't like the 40 dollar price tag for 10 rd. magazines.

What an excellent rifle, and congrats to you on the ownership of one, though it must be said I am quite jealous!

Just out of curiosity…what are the fundamental differences between the tiger and the SVD? If you are aware.
