| Senior Member | fg42 and mp44 just wondering, has anyone on here got to shoot the fg42 or the mp44 rifles? I've always liked those guns, but as far as I know there some of the most prized weapons germany made, so I've never seen one at a gun show just mainly in museums.

| Senior Member | i know they have some of both and the National Infantry Museum at Fort Benning in Georgia....really cool rifles....they have one of just about everything as well as some very interesting historical artifacts etc...i would recommend it to anyone passing through Georgia...its worth the detour...its just outside of Columbus Georgia |

| Senior Member | just got back from Maryland and I went to aberdeen. In their museum they had weapons display and they had an mp44 with a scope mount. anyone seen that before?
