Carcano Moshetto Carbine

My friend gave me a Carcano Moschetto TS to play around with. It is missing several parts. (Front band & handguard, Follower housing, spring & pin. The rifle is actually in decent shape, just need some TLC, but I cannot locate any parts for it. I would like to restore it for him as a gift. Anyone have any sources for parts for this rifle. Forget about Numrich Arms, as they have 10 million parts listed, but never have any actual parts. Any help would be appreciated

Still looking for Carcano parts. Has any one done business with Springfield Sporters. I have tried to contact them, but have had no response thru e-mails, faxes, and the line is always busy. Are they still in business? I need some help here, please...thanks

I appreciate you taking the time to post the pics. Unfortunately that is not what I am looking for. I will try to post some pics of my rifle, if anyone can help to positively ID it. I only need a couple parts, but cannot find any to match this rifle. Having trouble posting the pictures, says files are too large. What am I doing wrong??

By my thoughts you may have a youth training rifle. It is smaller than the regular rifle. I.E. the action and general rifle is smaller. It only fires a blank shell. If so you will have a hard time finding parts. I was lucky as mine was comlpete with bayonet and a youth military head cap. Good luck in your search.

Carcano

I found some pictures of it online, and I believe its a Mannlicher-Carcano M91 Carbine. I don't thinks its a trainer, as it has sharp, crisp rifling, and the action is definitely for a 6.5 cartridge. I now have to find a source for parts. I'll try again to post a picture when I figure out what I did wrong....
