| Senior Member | Capt'n: Check your photo labels. You've got this marked as an Argentine Mauser. And it doesn't quite look like one of those Madsen-made Mausers... I handled a Colombian .30-06 Mauser at their Air Force Academy in Cali, and found it to have a recoil pad built in. It wasn't much longer than an M-16, in fact... Of course, you may have one of those early Colombian Mausers they bought from Argentina and had re-chambered...

It is marked as a Columbian but I was told Argentina rebored the chamber to 30-06. But just because somebody who sold it to me said that... And thanks Boomer.

Sorry no pics as I'm away from home. Also if I want to photgraph all my guns together, I have to wait until the wife goes out for the day, so she doesn't see how many I've got! | |

I have 5 mosins: a Finn M91 B-Barrel, a 1942 Finn M39 with a SAKO barrel, a 1946 Izzy M44, a 1942 Izzy 91/30 ex-sniper factory rebuild, and a 1953 Hungarian M44 which I'm pretty sure was in the 1956 Revolution. I also have a Swiss K31, a MAS-36, a Steyr M95, a Lend-Lease Savage Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.I, a Yugo SKS, and two Turk Mausers: one 1938, and a German Gewehr 98 that was bought by the Turkish army and restamped. I also have a 1944 Izzy Nagant M1895 revolver.
