I've been thinkin it would be cool to set up a gatling type trigger actuator to a semi-auto rifle, mount the forend somehow, and crank out simulated full auto fire. Purely for sporting purposes. Reason for 9mm over the slightly cheaper 7.62x39mm is lesser recoil and slightly larger bullet holes. So I was thinkin of usin a MAC-11 carbine for it. Range would be 50yds. Make sense? Better or cheaper options out there?

I know they're out there, but I always think I can do better... What I wonder is how BATF would classify a mounted semi-auto pistol.
