Talking Red Dot on an HP carbine rocks

Took the 4x Tasco off and put a BSA Red-Dot on the carbine (Hi-Point)....I never used a red dot before so did not know what to expect.....at 50 yards and under the red dot was great..quick site picture...quick follow up...I was able to keep almost all shots in the head/neck area even with quick (not spray and pray) fire rates...made me start thinking about puting one on my Marlin 44mag rifle...and maybe the AK.:assult:

There's a specific red dot scope package. I see all versions at the PGCA gun show.

A Hi Point Carbine in 7.62 Soviet... A straight blowback weapon with a polymer frame that feeds its ammo through the grip for under $200... Chambered for 7.62 Soviet using AK mags... I might be crazy, but that's just mindblowing.

Thumbs up

I've shot the Marlin Camp-9 and the MAC11 subgun with red dot sights, and they do work well. It'd be the cat's meow on my lil' Hi-point Carbine. Next gunshow, maybe . . .

There it is, the Hi-Point AK. Figured the angle of the mag was wrong for the grip, so I put it in a foregrip. Yes, this is a lambe drawing I did in a few minutes, but whadaya expect with a Hi-Point?
