Thumbs up E-mail from Hi-Point

This is the cut/paste entire e-mail from MKS/Hi-Point....I think Im on their mailing list of know fanatics OF cours ethis goes with the flyer from 2 months ago announceing that the 40cal carbine was being shipped to dealers (2 months ago) so I guess they ran into some snags...hopefully they get it right....problem is I dones spent my xmass Gun $$ so they missed the xmass sales.

The news from the HI-POINT factory is that the 40 carbine should be out around Christmas...The 45 carbine is projected mid-2004 release.

Thanks,
kvh MKS Supply, Inc.

will they make it to use M-3 and Thompson mags???

as far as poster boys, they want to attract buyers, not scare them off!!! how ever a few bikini clad lovelys showing their HI-POINTS, would work for me

Oh please, for the love of GUN, please make the 45s take 1911 mags. They're single stack. They're readily available. They're cheap, even good ones. If they don't make them for 1911 mags I will pee on a printout of their webpage.

Thumbs up

Alrighty then! A .45 Carbine would be cool. I'd finally have a good use for some of those 15-round magazines. Got some tens that would be good for it too.
If it shoots as good as the nine, I'll be impressed. If it is as inexpensive too, then don't stand close in front of me!

Since it's single stack, if they don't use 1911 magazines, I will, after peeing on their ad, make a conversion kit to use them.
