357, 44, and 45 mag carbine conversions

I've read of conversions of M1 carbines to 357 Rem Mag and 435 Win Mag that use regular M1 Carbine mahgazines.

I'm thinking of making an AR some day in one of the above calibers, and wondered if anyone had experience with feeding them in M1 Carbine mags.

Also, since 45 Win Mag seems dimensionally like an easy conversion from a 45 ACP AR, suppose it could still work on straight blowback, with the mass of the bolt/carrier/plunger increased?

357 might be as simple as rebarreling a 7.62x39 upper since the base is the same, though it would still need a mag adapter. Of course lowback may be easier, but I dunno.

Wondering if maybe drilling holes in a 45 bolt and filling them with lead would increase the mass enough to work with the 45 Win Mag?

I would think leave the bolt like it is and increase the recoil spring?

I HAVE A 45 WIN MAG ; A 50AE BOTH IN M1 CARBINES. THEY USE THE STANDARD 15 SHOT MAG AND HOLD 5 ROUUNDS EACH, SINGLE STACK. 10 SHOTS IS ABOUT ALL YOU WANT TO FIRE IN THE .45 WIN MAG. IT HITS YOU WORSE THAN A 12 GA. SHARP AND VERY HARD. THE 50AE IS ABOUT THE SAME AS A 20GA BUT EAR MUFFS ARE A MUST WHAT A BLAST.

That .45 WinMag M1 sounds neat DANA! My .45 WinMag chambered toy is an LAR Grizzly. I had a post in the 1911 board -"1911 on steroids" with a pic of it. That's what I meant about the recoil spring above, the bolt for sure doesn't need any more mass, that .45 WM hits hard!
