Thumbs up Fixed stock for UZI

As we all know a rifle/carbine must be 26" long, well there are different ways the fed measure them.
An Uzi carbine is well under 26".With the folding stock it is measured with the stock extended, with a fixed stock it is over 26",but with a detachable stock it is measured with the stock removed.
My s/a carbine came with a folding stock but I like the wood fixed better, unfortunitly they are extremly rare at this time.
I found a source ordered and received mine for Christmas and it is really nice.
It is a converted detachable wood stock that has been reworked to look like new, they will even modify you original detachable mounting hardware to act as a fixed so as to be legal.
The guy that does this can be reached at jamesdjones@yahoo.com
He also offers some other custom Uzi parts.

Guess I am the only Uzi fan here, that's OK,it's not too bad being exclusive.
Old Uzial Gal got it right the first time.

Wink

The Uzi is also known as the AK of sub-guns.

One of the members of the Alaska Machine Gun Club has a silenced Vector Arms Uzi with the wood stock. I had the pleasure of firing it and I have to say it was a pleasure to shoot, quiet and deadly. The wood stock seemed to balance the weapon better than the Model "A" with a folding stock I used to own.
