| Best Gun Finish'es Sometime today I hope UPS delivers the CZ 82 I odered from AIM. It is advertised that these pistols are in excellent condition with a little wear to the finish along the edges of these fine pistols. These guns were painted at the factory where they were made so I would expect some minor chipping. Memebers and Guest of Gun and Game in your oppinion what would be the best finish to have done to this pistol if I were to have it refinished. And this would be good information to others that own pistols and long guns. And who do you get to this service. |

| You could blue it yourself. Its not really that to do. Here's a link that shows how. BLUE WONDER Gun Blue Instructions Novum Solutions, Makers of Blue Wonder and Muscle Wonder. Or you could parkerize it black but that requires a little more work and equipment. |

| Senior Member ![]() | I'd say either DuraCoat or one of the bake-on teflon finishes from Brownells. The teflon finish has an added bonus of adding a bit of lubricity to any moving parts that get coated. | Gunmetal blue finish over a textured surface to reduce glare off the top of the slide. |
