| Ahhhh...good job. Way to be resourceful! Do you think those commemorative pistols are firing versions since they came from the Franklin Mint??? I would think not, but you would know better than me. I had a commemorative 1911 that was a firing version and worth around $2k, but the uncle I inherited it from had engraved his name on the side of the slide. Ugh. Oh wells, it became a fun little shooter!

| I have a friend with a Large collection of commemoratives Both rifles and Handguns...They are ALL shootable, though I wouldn't fire a round out of any of them due to the Value. Very Expensive, lots of Gold and engravings, all in showcases. Most are Colts, Winchesters, Berrettas, Thompsons, Rugers, Springfields, and 1 1897 Winchester Trench gun Made By Norinco..( I gave him Grief about buying that One !) I haven't much info On Franklin Mint stuff...Still gathering Data...I thought they did Plates ! Rich
