44-40 LBH Winchester

Can you shoot any other ammo from a lever action winchester marked 44-40? How much difference in value does fired from unfired make on a commemorative winchester rifle, Little Big Horn to be specific.

If you shoot a commemorative rifle, you destroy Value to a collector sometimes as much as 25% to 50%.
If it is 44-40 then That Is the ONLY Cartridge you can shoot, they are available for Cowboy action shooting .
I wouldn't shoot a commemorative Personally, since there are many others to shoot worth less money...

Same thing...the .44 WCF was loaded with 40 gr. black powder and a 200 gr. bullet. Obsolete now.
