| Senior Member | Yeah, I heard that with such a huge demand for the 9mm model, they don't have the resources free to make the 45 one.

| Hi-Point warrenty "Rocks" The 995 I have I picked out the trash some guy shot reloads in it and blew it up, swelld the chamber and blew off the extractor "no mag's", I calld Hi-Point noseing around for parts and they said sent it in! The only money I was out of was the $14.73 shipping it to them"sent buddy's copy of FFL" ,it came back like new with a sling 2 mag's and scope mount! and a new stock. It came back thru the Post Office and had the buddy with a FFL pick it up. The lady said they had even warrented gun's from house fire's before I wasent the buyer, and it was blown by reloads which most Mfg would void the warrenty! and for less than $20 I have one. I just wished it was a 40 S&W! |

| I gotta say I'm very impressed with the stories of Hi-Point's customer service on defective/broken guns, maybe I've been too quick to judgement on the big ugly cheap things. Wish I could find one in the trash like Rex. |

| According to Shirley Deeb at Hi-Point, the Model 4595 (she confirmed that is what the .45 ACP carbine will be called) and its accessories will be released to the marketplace in late 2008 or early 2009. It's in prototype stage now. Here's a link to another thread here on that, which has a photo of the 4595 near the bottom of the thread. http://www.gunandgame.com/forums/pis...bine-news.html (Hi-Point .45 ACP Carbine News) |
