A bunch of human shields are on their way to Baghdad to join those already there. They're a little nervous, because no sooner had they positioned themselves next to schools and milk factories than Iraqi army regiments moved in behind them.
They're saying, "Well, wait a minute! This is not what we had in mind. These army regiments might be targets." They then said, "This isn't about dying." That's an actual quote from the Boston Globe, from an actual human shield. "This isn't about dying. It's about making a political statement through putting your body in a strategic location."
You idiot! It is 100% about dying! If you're going to go put yourself in a strategic military location, it is about dying. You abject idiot! I'm sorry; I have no patience for this. If these people want to act holier-than-thou, what do you expect? You put yourself in the line of fire in a country that's soon to come under attack and you think that you're just going to make a political statement? Saddam doesn't allow statements of political dissent! You are slated to die, guys. General Tommy Franks has said we're going to do all we can to avoid civilian casualties, but we can't guarantee 100% safety of human shields or other civilians.
