I have owned Norinco weaponry and have found it to be more than satisfactory. Many will say the chinese steel is weaker and prone to peening over use; I never experienced that. In my opinion, Norinco made very good products.

Norinco has great firearms, and I'm impressed with their quality.

I have a chicom Ithica M37 clone slug gun.

It outshoots the Benelli slug gun I HAD. Oh and the Benelli cost TEN TIMES the price of the chicom copy of the M37....

They might be a little rough on the finsh, but the fit on my slug gun has zero barrel to reciever play to it.

NORINCO guns are of top useable quality and the cost is almost unbelievable compared to the quality....

My Norinco M14 has done very well for me, I would imagine the Sig clone works well, but I've never had experience with one.

im a fan of norinco firearms, statements above pretty much says it all.
as far as the sig copy, i dont think they were ever imported to the u.s but like other norincos we have here in the u.s, i would think they are well built

thanks for the info guys

and after googling this issue last night i have found that norinco clones are indeed very good and intact
thought original sig's finish is tougher
but the frame of the norinco np-22 according to some threads
is stronger than the original sig's
that the rail wont crack as some threads complain about the original sig's

it appears the NP-22 is a clone of the Sig P226, not the P250 as the orginial poster mentioned.
