Redhead 4x23 Scope

Yeah I know they're cheap but I bought it new for 10 bucks. I was thinking of using it on my Marlin Model 60, or as a backup scope while my Burris is in getting repaired. Anyone have any experience with these scopes?

Also looking into the Bushnell dusk and Dawn but know little about these scopes any help is appreciated

Thanks
Mark

I have a bushnell dusk to dawn 3.5-10x36 on my 17hmr. The glass is clear on low power by gets cloudy on higher mag. Mine has A/O which doesn't seem to make much difference, have to keep it cranked to max for scope to be effective, would prefer one without the A/O. But I won't change it just yet because its just so darn accurate I don't want to mess with it. Works great on groundhogs out to 200yds.

So does the cross hair illumination work well? What .17 HMR are you shooting? I'm was thinking of one of these for my Mossberg. I have a very nice Burris which costs more than the firearm.

How is the battery life?

Thanks
