Gopher Shooting Part Deux

Well went and culled another 120 or so gophers today, all with the .410 but they gave me 4 boxes of shells as I am doing them a favor. They don't know I'd pay them . But once again they do a lot of damage so I can see why they are glad to get rid of them. Think I had better start looking at reloading for the .410.

Nice! and people think they need long range rifles for those things! looks like your little .410 is very effective! .

Well its not a challenge with the .410 and the quad. I really like using my 10/22 HB for anything out to a 100 yards or so, and my .223 for the really long shots as you need some skill. But its really all about getting rid of the pests quickly and safely thats why the .410 is such a good choice. There are a few places there I can use the .22 and .223 without worrying about hitting cattle or buildings. They have another pasture out in the middle of nowhere I may go to next plus a buddies brother-in-law has a gopher problem so may head there next week.
