Arizona vs. Rhode Island

I heard this today on FOX and checked it out; it's true.
Hot Air Arizona – the new Rhode Island?
Rhode Island fully empowered its law enforcement to enforce federal immigration laws in 2008. Even more stunning is that it wasn't done by a act of the State Congress, but by Executive Order of the Governor. There are no provisions against "racial profiling" and those apprehended are turned directly over to ICE.
You can d/l the executive order from Google. It is #08-01 and is dated March 27, 2008; over two years ago. What's more, this order has been challenged and upheld as legal in federal court. It cites the 287(g) agreement as "empowering the state to use its resources to enforce federal immigration law" which, of course, is exactly what 287(g) does.
Did someone fail to tell Napolitano, Holder and Obama about this? All those who are screaming about the injustice of the Arizona law (that hasn't even gone into effect yet) didn't have a clue about Rhode Island, did you? Whine about Arizona? Boycott Arizona? Where have you been for the past two years? Can you say BIGOT?
Just more proof that a lot of Americans (ignorant sheeple) love swallowing the steady diet of the liberal propaganda and believe every lying word of it.

Ah, but there are three differences here:

3. Rhode Island is a blue state. Arizona is a red state.

2. Rhode Island is tiny and has no contiguous border with our non-friend, Mexico.

And the most important reason of all:

1. This all happened while BUSH was in office, so Obama can't be blamed for it!

It is also not part of the drug traffic routes used to bring drugs into the country. I said along time ago that both leaders were allowing drugs to come into the country. They are screaming about Arizona because it will hurt their cash cow, them staying in power, and the Republicans are not on board with the immigration reform.

I stated in another thread that Arizona needs to file a counter suit against the Federal Government and this would be more evidence on the side of Arizona. (The PEOPLE)

^ I have to agree. Counter-sue based on the lack of will of the federal politicians to tackle this problem. They rather protect their bottom line than protect our borders !!

I do'nt know how many illegals Rhode Island has but we have alot here in Conneticut. No one around here seems to have any intrest in deporting them. The police do pull them over alot and conficate their illegal unresgistered and uninsured cars but thats about it. It might be that fact that most of them keep thier heads down and just work. They don't picked or complain about anything. You also do not see any Mexican flags flying anywhere around here either even though there are alot of them here.
