The recent UN Security Council Resolution submitted by the US, Britain, and Spain designed to give Iraq until March 17 to show evidence of full disarmament has put a snag in the countries'upcoming St. Patrick's Day plans.
At a press conference, Iraqi Vice President Tariq Aziz said that "the brutality of the US and it's running dog lackey, Britain, knows no bounds, as is evident in their scheduling a deadline for war on such an important religious holiday."
Aziz, wearing a t-shirt that read 'Bomb Me- I'm Irish', went on to lament the cancellation of such events as the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade of Suicide Bombers and the Iraqi Army "Race to the Rear for Charity" event, in which Iraqi soldiers compete in a race to drop their weapons and skedaddle like a bunch of Frenchmen.
When asked if the celebrations would be re-instated for next years' St. Patrick's Day, Aziz commented "How the hell should I know- I'll be in some US prison by then getting ready to face a military tribunal- so what do I care?"
