| French "peace" protestors stab 2!
Peace demonstrators in France stab 2 Jewish boys Thanks to Andrew Sullivan who links the Jerusalem Post article. This didn't make the French headlines. What the Hell is going on in France? Under the guise of pacifism, are we seeing Chirac lead a nation to yet another European campaign of hate? What is this opposition really about? Is it a misguided quest for peace, or is it really about supporting a regime bent on killing Jews? http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satelli...D1048305299381

I was watching one of the early morning news programs (?) 3 am baby feeding. One of the talking heads explained France this way, 30% of the population voted communist in the last election, another 10% voted for the nazi party (haven't given up yet) and other extremest canidates received another 10%, the remaining are split between the less extreme socialist parties. So over half the voting public in France support causes (parties) that the US views as enemies or unacceptable TRASH. All in all, to rule France you must include at least one of these wacked out groups in you power base. Why (some of) the US is so worried about what this screwed up country thinks is beyond me. I about fell out of my chair when I found out the NAZI party of France garners the same percentage of voters that all the third parties in the US. At some point I would hope the rest of Europe awakens to the weirdos living among them.

When you get down to this has been the longest period of peace in Western Europe since the Roman Empire. The last real shooting since WW2 is the Soviet put down in Hungary. Never know, the Swiss may get tired of everyone's crap and and take it all over. I remember a story about a Swiss and German Officers talking at the outbreak of WWII. The Swiss army consisted of 500,000 men and the German general asked the Swiss general what they would do if Germany invaded with a million men. The Swiss general replied,"Everyone would shoot twice and go home".

| French Nazi party...?
Dhermesc, do you have any more info on that French "Nazi" party that garnered 10% of the vote? It must be at least under another name, because I would swear that I've heard from multiple sources that the Nazi party is outright banned in France. Not only the party, but any item, even war memorobelia, with Nazi symbols on it is banned. Everyone probably remembers the fiasco when the French government sued e-bay for allowing someone to sell a Nazi belt buckle or something online. They had to sue in a French court because they knew they had no chance in an American one! Oh, just had a thought: Maybe WWII memorobelia of all kinds is banned in France because they don't want to be reminded of how pathetically they prostrated themselves before their invaders! -Bert |

This was a couple days ago, and no I don't have any more info. I wasn't aware the Nazi party was banned in France, but I do know its banned in Germany. They aren't as rare as you might think considering the Nazis ran Spain (Franco) until the 60s. I remember looking at some old Life Magazines that showed a Spanish government official proudly displaying the medal he received from Adolf Hitler. You are probably right about it being banned and it operating under some other SOCIALIST party name. Or just possibly the talking heads where talking out their a**.
