Deceptive Advertising

Some shmuck on AA is selling a 1938 Carcano rifle. In the description he says the rifle is the same type of rifle LH Oswald used to assasinate Kennedy and that it is from an estate sale in which the relatives say the owner died suddenly in the 60's after retiring from some government job, details are sketchy...... In the picture he has the rifle on top of an ammo box behind a bush with a copy of TIME featuring a story of Kennedy next to it.

This guy then distances himself from this story saying that you are only purchasing the rifle. Yeah I bet. What an @$$. If you can't prove it then why advertise it? He must really know his story is BullSheet because he only lists the rifle for 49$.

Pha,

There are ton's of folks out there that will flim flam anyone to make a buck.....been there....was taken by acouple of them.

Just glad you are one of the smarter ones that could read between the lines but the question I have is how many weren't?

Not sure what A&A is but do they have a site to report this joker? If it's Auction Arms, yes, then you can complain to them. Unfortunately they are into making a buck too.....dayum!

Personally, I would love...love....to invite some fool like this to go shooting with me.

Or better yet, con them into one of my fifty mile rattlesnake hunts, he he he he.
