Finally got on. I normally clear all my history, files and cookies using Internet options. I ran CCleaners last night and it took almost 2 hours. The DSN was fine. Couldn't figure out the tracer part because I didn't know which server to tell it I was using. I clicked on all the US ones and had no clue what it was telling me.
I did all that also, but to no avail. Have tried maybe 40-50 times today and just got on this once. I'm just waiting to hit "SUBMIT REPLY", only to get the error message.

Do you user OpenDNS or any other DNS things with a router?
Beats me! I do have an EWIRE DSL thing and use a CISCO Ethernet Cable/DSL Router. I have 2 computers and an Xbox on the router. All wired - no wireless here.
Now here I clicked on an e-mail link and got right on. Interesting.

It was doing it again this morning. I got logged in fine. Opened a thread, and when I went to reply I got Gateway Error message again. I can get on from work but not home.

Since yesterday afternoon, all the way up till some time this morning, I kept getting a "Server Not Found" message and it would basically default to this message after the request timed out. I've got Firefox, Panda Security, Crap Cleaner, and Registry Mechanic.

I was going to say "Women have brain cells?", but then I thought they have to have a lot, as my wife did marry me!
Earlier today I got on but it would not let me post, then it would only allow me to get to the forum listings. Just clicked on it now and right up. WIll see what happens and how long it lasts.

On the phone with Bunny right now, 8:15 am Wednesday, and she is having the same problem again. She was able to get on this morning fine, made one post and then got the same error message she was getting last week. She updated her virus program, ran a scan and shows no virus and everything seems OK on her end. She can get on fine at work but not at home. She is still on dial up at home. Is anyone else who is having problems getting on connecting with dial up?
She can get on every other website she has tried. Just not G&G.
GnG is having some name resolution problems. I have to flush DNS on my computer every so often and clear the cache on the webproxies at work also. One of their name servers must not be responding correctly.
Have Bunny try an ipconfig /flushdns
There is most definitely an issue with GnG's name resolution as we use root hints at work, and I use Huntel's (ISP) DNS at home both have the same sporadic issue.
