I went out to kill a few pieces of paper. It was miserable, so I cut it short. It as snowing, but not cold enough to stick. The ground was a muddy, boot-sucking mess. I fired 15 rounds with the 96/11 Schmidt Rubin, and called it a day.

The rain finally quit here in Vegas on Christmas Eve. We usually don't have a week and a half of rain, but we did this year. My daughter was here from Kentucky. She and my son and I went to the desert and shot my scoped Mosin, new AK, and cop Remington 870. It was a beautifun day with sun and no wind. Of the three, the shotgun was the most fun. Everyone have a happy, safe, New Year.
