Primates Use Keyboard As Toilet

LONDON -- We still can't say whether an infinite number of monkeys would eventually produce the works of Shakespeare.
But we do know what would happen if six monkeys were to be given access to a computer for a month. Faculty and students at Britain's Plymouth University did just that. And they say the only thing the primates managed to produce was a mess.
At first, they say, the lead male tried to bash the computer with a rock.
Then, the group tried using the keyboard as a toilet.
Eventually, monkeys Elmo, Gum, Heather, Holly, Mistletoe and Rowan produced five pages of text, composed primarily of the letter S. Later, the letters A, J, L and M crept in -- still not quite literature.
