Thanks guys! I indeed had a great 21st birthday, being surprised in my room by my suitemates (and ocasional shooting buddies) and girlfriend. Earlier in the day I went out for a simple mild drink and since I'm always wacky, no one could tell the difference.
Sadly, the used Taurus 357 I was eyeing was sold the morning of my birthday. But I have price quotes on new ones and am seeing about some other used ones online.
Or maybe I'll get a 1911. I want both. So many guns, so little money...

I'll have to second the Happy Birthday to you...a day late.
Regardless, I hope you had a great day. Seems like only a few months ago when we were kidding you through a survey about whether or not you should get a new girlfriend. Seems like you definitely outvoted us.(ha)
Also, I would guess graduation day is coming up soon. Is it this year or do you have another year or so?

Happy 21st birthday. Hope you enjoyed the first legal single malt beverage of your life. And what did you get yourself to celebrate your birthday?:drink: :ballons: :joker:
I still have 2 more years of engineering school before I graduate. 5 total.
Wish I could have bought myself a revolver or 1911, but I haven't nailed down a good used one yet, and will take my time if I get a new one. Got bills to pay first. Besides, without a permit to carry, it would be housebound.
But I did buy pistol ammo, 44 Special to try in GunGeek's guns when he recovers from surgery. The guy didn't even card me for it.
