Thumbs up Our Brave Ones

Well guys, it's that time again. time for beer and bar-b-ques! But, let's not forget who made this all possible. Our troops both past and presant. Let's remember all the freedoms we have. Even thoses persons who would deny us our forum for speech and ideas. You know who you are! Let's also remember thoses who would try to chip away at our freedoms and attempt to convience us we don't need certain items all of us enjoy. Let's remember the media, our politicos and any other scum of the earth persons who would seek to belittle our great nation. Let's also remember our neighbors to the north. Those who spoke badly of our freedom to own weapons, spoke harshly of our not used often enough execution system and, last, but certainly not least, our disgust at what we call partial-birth abortions. It is my humble opinion, that these persons who have forgotten the lives that we lost creating this great nation and the lives that will continue to be lost in the effort to protect our nation, deserve all that may one day befall them. Members of this forum, do not forget those who made this day possible. It is the right thing to do. So, today, as you go about you business with family and friends, think, if only for a moment, about those who cannot be doing the same. And, one other comment: Ain't we lucky to live in America?

A proud salute to all who have served....past and present.

For the ones that gave it all may their memories always inspire us to preserve freedom.

As for me I would gladly serve again.

Thumbs up

I guess it's a good thing that some folks gave you a chance and didn't just ban you outright, now that's the American way!
I salute those that gave their lives so that we can enjoy our precious freedoms, even those fools that want to vote those same priceless freedoms away or let the Democrats steal them!
Those brave souls that sacrificed for us are the thing that made America great, the least we can do is think of that before we go to the voting booths!
Again,I salute our brothers in arms!
God,guns, and guts...may we always have all of the neccessary ingredients for freedoms recepie!

Cool

Thanks guys, I appreciate the consensus. Though I must admit I am especially pleased that someone (Rave) caught my between the lines referances to those evil ones who seek to destroy our way of life. I can only assume they have good intentions but, are simply miss-guided. As well, all know, there are those elected officials who's efforts are not well disguised and their intent is plan and clear, for all who see. I hope now, that the election is close at hand, we will all think very carefully about who we support. Even the repubs have sent shivers down my spine. I fear what has become common place. I forget the author but, he said some thing like this: "Those who would sacrifice rights for a feeling of safety and security, deserve niether!" **** right! Fight for these rights we still have. Soon, if things go as planned, we won't have anything to fight over, except a fallen commrads shoes! All those elected scum bags took and oath to protect the Constitution, yet, what is the first thing they seek to destroy? Yup, our rights! Think long and hard my friends. The wolf is amoung us! Let's deny him a taste of any more of our freedoms! The same freedoms many have fought for and many have died for! They have sacrificed for us! So we can have the liberty and freedoms that this great nation is known all around the world for. It still amzes me that people are so asleep at the wheel as to allow these traitors to continue to enjoy freedom! They deserve to be put to death or, at least, they deserve many, many years in jail for thier attempts to destry the constitution, the same one they swore to uphold!
