PIC HEAVY! Short day at the range with new and old guns.

The wife and I went out to a bit of farm ground I have permission to hunt on for a little shooting today.

Wife with Browning Buckmark Camper Mossy Oak Edition. I like the brass just above the barrel and the smoke in front you can also see if you look really close that the slide isnt fully closed yet.

Me with my HK USP 40 Tactical.

And again.

And one handed trying to decide which had more recoil.

Strong handed with the USP.

Weak side with new HK P2000 V3 in .40

Strong side P2000

My wife mid-recoil.... love the face...LOL

She caught this one thought it was cool..

Me with the .30-06 working on some new reloads.

Wife getting brave.....

The newest edition to the family buy itself.

Thanks for looking all. Have a great week....

Greats pics of you and the wife enjoying a perfect day. Great scenery too. Almost forgot what it is like to see the horizon on land. Around here, you can't see a hundred feet ahead of you unless your looking at a distant salt marsh, the ocean, or driving on the interstate.

Looks like fun. What kind of coating is on that rifle? Blends right in with the surroundings.

That looks like it was a good time. I wish I had the space to do that. I only get to shoot indoors right now.

Yeah I wasnt shooting very far at all, as I was just trying to find a load to work from before I moved out to a farther range, but just being outside is enough for me usually. Hopefully in a couple weeks I can get my neck resizing die and really start honing in on that perfect load for my .30-06.

Out where we were I could shoot 1k if I felt like it, but probably next time will be at the 100 mark, then out to 300 where my zero is set. Then if I have the gumption push it out to 500. Of course if that works well then maybe work to 1k.... Wasnt there a post here about 1000yrds for less than $2000. Lets see: $350 Rifle, $150 Scope, $40 Bipods, $5 Spray Stone Paint. Yeah thats about it....
