Exclamation Book Review

If you love the 1911 like I do then Dave Lauck's book:
Tactical 1911 : The Street Cop's And SWAT Operator's Guide To Employment And Maintenance is the book you've been waiting for! Man I LOVED THIS BOOK! I have been waiting for a book to come along that gives a no-holds-barred, white-knuckled defense of the 1911 (.45ACP) up against any pistol (and revolver) on the market. The author does not bash other handgun designs for being different from the 1911, he simply points out the strengths of the 1911 by comaprison. Dave covers everything you need to know: safety, customization dos and don'ts, ammo selection, CCW considerations, tactics, and maintenance. I highly reccomend this book. I have really enjoyed reading and digesting mine several times!

Here's a link to Dave's website. In addition to being an author and a gunsmith he's also a real nice guy.
