Old Mini14 question
I have a Mini14 that is stamped on the receiver "made in the 200th year of American Liberty." I paid $200 bucks or so for it a couple of years ago. Figured it was a heck of a deal for a preban.
The blueing/finish is about 90% give or take. The gun is really in great condition for being as old as I am.
I was wondering if anybody could give me an approximate value on it. I'll snap some pics with the digicam if needed. My book says that the stamp on the receiver makes it considerably more desireable. Course, I have a MkII22 with the same stamp on it a dn the book says nothing about that in regards to the .22Lr.

That pre-bans probably worth $700-800 dollars to the right person, may be even more. Mines post-ban, never fired and worth $450.

Yeah I got it on consignment from a gun shop about two years ago or so. It's a series 180 which was the first produced I believe. It didn't fire very well at first because it came with a Bulter Creek folding stock wich was made for series 181 and higher. It just didn't match up. I went to Numerich and got a wooden stock that was made for it.

Uh, how about just holding onto it and I'll pick it up from you while I'm there next week, Matt? You won't have to pay a dime for shipping!
