Question 7.62x25 reloading? and bullett size

Thsi is a cut/pase of what I also put int he reloading form...

Hummm ok got the press, dies, and the "bug"...doing 45acp, and 223..next is 9mm just to gain experience....but looking hard at the 7.23x25 to reload.....what size bullets does this use .308 or .311....any "cast lead" bullets or HP anyone would recomend?? would like to make the CZ-52 more of a home defense gun..and FMJ ball in this zipper is worthless. Thanks all.

Cast lead bullets will lead up the barrel quick (due to the velocity)
It is possible to load the Tok round up to the 1700 fps level
I have clocked S&B out of my Cz 52 at 1620fps.
The bullet size is .311 (but check your barrel for variations)
There is a lot of ........less than perfect dimensions in the guns and ammunition.
Post what you find
