His name is Michael Heald. I would like to share the good news at the recording studio. Can't do it now I have to go to work.

Ok I have to brag a little bit on Michael. He went to San Francisco for a demo recording and blew everyone away. The studio he played in hosted bands like Journey, Ozzie, Metallica, and Fleetwood Mac.
The studio personel told him he was best lead guitarist to come along in a long while.
Ozzie picked up the lead guitarist from Metallica. Thats ashame Michael is better. They told him that. Anyway I wish him the best.
He want's to start his own band. Personally I believe a major band will pick him up.

music is very strange to me you either got it or dont, I can read music, like I can read plc programming, but I cant play it, sure I can but down licks if the music is in front of me, I think im tone deaf, if you play a c chord, yeah i know the frets, if later you play a c chord I cant remember what it sounds like, could be an e or d to me, im total tone deaf, I cant remember chords by sound, only rote memory on written paper, but I sure like to hear folks that can really play, like eric clapton, and you guys that can play I salute you, I dont have the capacity for tones, my brain just will not work that way, it only works for cams and gears, and electronics, give me a motor and ill make it sing, body work no problem, paint jobs no problem, my brain is purely technical, solution, yes, artistic forget it

Michael and his band just got back from their second trip to San Francisco. The first time it was just him and the drummer. Michael played bass and lead guitar. This time the singer went with them and recorded their first album. Michael wrote all of the lyrics and music for the songs. Most of the bass was played by Michael. Then they went to Hollywood for the final mix and album shoot.
The same photographer that did Ozzie's , Fleetwood Mack and Journey's covers.
While he was there he met Ozzie's band and Sheryl Crow.
Other than that he said Hollywood sucked.--Bad vibes the whole time he was there.
Sometime in January they are going to tour overseas under the band name War Torn.
They are playing backup for Motley Crue.

Do you suppose he'll make another attempt at recording? It may take a while, but sounds like he'll make people take notice eventually. Musical talent shouldn't be taken lightly. If he's got it, he should use it and let others enjoy his talents, too.

His first attempt has been recorded and is ready for release after the tour.
Maybe album is a out dated term. Ok a C.D.

I have a Fender strat, and a nice little Martin... I sold off the rest of my stuff when I wasn't playing much. They actually funded my gun collection.

I have an Ibanez ergodyne bass like this,
a cheapo Gretchen electromatic, a Yamaha acoustic/electric, and a Grave Creek Customs acoustic made of east indian rosewood. It's the perfect bluegrass sound. Mu grandpa had his nephew who owns Grave Creek Customs hand build it for me. I will have to take a picture sometime and post it. Definitely the best gift I have ever gotten from anyone

I have a Horner acoustic guitar made in Japan that has an excellent sound when I'm not playing it. LOL !!!...A.H
I use to play bass guitar and was in 2 bands. I can honestly say I was good at it, but I couldn't play an acoustic guitar.
I've owned 1 set of drums the $119.00 set from SEARS any you ole folks remember them ?
My first guitar was a Sears silvertone acoustic that sounded like chit ! Then I bought a KENT, any you ole timers remember Kent guitars they were cheap and heavy duty.
My Dad bought me an electric Gibson Kalamazoo 6 string guitar and a Fender Bassman amp...I couldn't play it either...A.H

In the past couple years, I've gotten more and more into playing the guitar although I haven't made much progress until more recently as I've been playing quite a lot these days. My father and I got three guitars from my uncle when he died. The one I play now is one of his. It's a Fender Squire which is just a lower priced Strat with a white body, dark neck, and dark red-ish tortoise pickguard. We had a creme one with a blonde neck and a white pickguard that was an american Strat but it's been taken apart because there was a crack in the body and we wanted to fix it or get another body and build it back from there. We had his Jazz Bass but sold it because we needed the money at the time and none of us could play it.
Lately I play that Squire just about every day and once I'm good with it and I have the money, I'll buy me a Fender Classic Player or their American Vintage '57 Stratocaster. The later is very expensive so I may have to settle for a more affordable model. What I'd be going for is a three-tone sunburst with a blonde or maple neck and a white pickguard. If you're already familiar with my favorite musician of all time, it's no surprise as to why : http://www.buddyhollyonline.com/images/gp1.jpg |
