I was cleaning my P95 the other day. Hadn't shot it in a couple of years actually, but it was time to give it a once over. I was using a toothbrush to knock some dirt/dust/grit off of the rear sight. The left rear sight post cracked and chipped off right in my hand! I have never seen this before.
Can I replace it? If so, how much would you reckon it will run me?

Matt, is the sight a 'fixed' dovetailed or a partridge sight?
I've also seen models with a set Allen screw that, of course, has to be loosened before the sight is adjusted or tapped out.
Mine is and it can be removed and replaced. I'm not sure but I think it can be removed by tapping it with a hardwood dowel but I think it's designed to be removed in one direction and not the other (slid left versus right or vice versa).
At any rate I'm sure a quick call to a reputable dealer can get the answer you're looking for.

WE have a Ruger Law Enforcement dealer in town, so I'm told, and it's also rumored that he is not far from where I live. I think I'll try to get a hold of him. He might have it on hand. I learned this since I first posted this thread. Thanx guys.

matt, I'm a ruger dealler and the guys are right all you have to do is call them and the'll send you one right out.
if you like the Trijicon sights, or fire sights try them but call ruger to get the sight replaced anyway. resale value is higher with the original sights.
if you need the number pm me and i'll send it to you.
