The company my wife works for is having their annual insurance enrollment. A 80% copay and $5 prescription drug program is $750/mo. A 50% copay with no drug program is $475/mo. The final option basically covers 80% of emergency room visits and costs $255/mo. This is for her alone, not the two of us. Doesn't include vision or dental either.
The interesting part is that my wife's employer is the insurance company.

insurance is betting against yourself. the only insurance I have is auto because there is no way to get out of it. when I become King I will have a special torture chamber reserved for insurance co. executives. right next to the one for politicians.
