Want to buy American for the Holidays?

Here is a sight I found that carries only things made in the USA! I plan on doing my Christmas shopping here and on American made gun products

Boycott China!

Made in USA, Made in America, US, American-Made

Unfortunately it looks like the cheap crap you would expect to see in a 99% store. It is pathetic how we went from manufacturing almost all high quality electronics, cars, etc and now we are reduced to cheap crap.

That is a cool site! I'm going to add it to my favorites list, and use it to keep MY money out of Chinese hands! Come on, G&G members, let's take a bite out of the money China gets for all their inferior crap!

Sea chicken, at least it's made here, and the money spent will stay here! The jeans look like quality jeans, and that alone will keep millions at home, instead of buying those "designer" ripoffs that get imported from the "Great Copier"!

I do try to buy american but the sad fact is Nothing I care to own that I use in my daily life aside from a few of my guns is actually made in this country. Thats just the reality of life at the moment. Buying some american trinkets here and there are not going to help the situation at all. The only way to change it is american companies get tax breaks for making items here and the companies that outsource overseas have to pay extra taxes and import fees.

Looking around to take a quick inventory of what is made where;
Car- US
Motorcycle- Germany

Guns- US, Finland, Czech Republic, Austria
Jeans- North Carolina baby!
Shirts- anywhere from Thailand to Dominican Republic
underwear- mostly US or territories
socks- US or territories
watch- Switzerland (is there such thing as a US made watch anymore?)
optics- US, and one Nikon.
I think the Kong toys for my dogs are actually US made.
I have an ancient magnavox console stereo that still sound great made in US

If anyone can find other sites, items at the local stores, or just anything made in the US in general maybe post them in this thread. I would like to buy nothing but American for the holidays as gifts. If we can find enough things, then maybe we can cut out a lot of spending on foreign crap!

I am a firm believer of "buy American." I buy a lot of store brands since most of them are made in the greatest nation in the world. I can't tell a lie, some of them are lower quality, but when you are buying food products it doesn't always matter.

Bookmarked and forwarded the site to family. I am really digging the Duluth packs and still have the Woodsmans Pal on my 'to get' list.

Many cities have 'locally made' stores (mostly soaps and girly things, but in the same spirit) and it doesn't hurt to shop at yard sales and thrift stores (for yourself or a very understanding other).
