Sept 1st is just around the corner, any of you WINGSHOOTERS out there getting ready for DOVE season? What is your favorite shotgun? I really liked to shoot my O/U SKB Full and Mod with 26' barrel. I think I might drive up to my good buddy's ranch and kick up some birds and see if I can bring home some groceries. Any of you guys like to cook your doves with bacon and pineapple on the BBQ, YUMMIE....Sept 1st I like to be out where it is peaceful and quite, as it is my Dad's Birthday, and he would want me outside enjoying the beautiful desert, so even if I am not up to shooting....or even if I don't get off a shot... I still might take off.. I am feeling better and alot stronger and am walking better.....at least I am trying..to feel better...I want to get back to the way I was before my accident...and I wonder if I ever will...GOD it kills me..I can't go shooting...I am dying down here...LOLLLLL :nod: :assult:

Know how ya feel missharpshooter, had neck surgery back in March. Still can't shoot anything with too heavy of a recoil, and still not walking too well. Gonna get me a chair and my nephews .410 and at least let them know I'm out there.Hope you get up and around soon.

missharpshooter Im so sorry, life isnt fair sometimes, I spent 1 year in nam getting the crap beat out of me but hang in there, im blessed with an old bod that will not quit, its been blown up ( chicom grenade) shot up, but it still keeps working like the energizer bunny, I can still ski, water and snow, run my fat *** for 3 miles, snorkle, swim for 3 miles, you hang in there, and dont give up, I had to rehab my right leg for about 2 years, hang in there missy, it will get better,

My dad loved his Browning O/U. We did some dove hunting but desert scaled quail was the family favorite.
