The FBI and DOJ have launched the “Communities Against Terrorism” program. The campaign seeks assistance from workers in 25 industries to spy on their fellow citizens ferret out the terrorists among us. Citizen spies are being recruited from hotel and motel personnel, dive shop operators, car and property rental agents, the inky patriots who run tattoo parlors, gun dealers and baristas at Internet cafes.

Jeez. I think every member of G&G would be considered a terror suspect under those standards. The yankee government seems to be returning to the days of block wardens and children turning in their parents! Only those who blindly support the current administration would seem to be safe from the yankee government's paranoia.
Telephone and CATV companies were asked years ago, during the previous administration under the Patriot Act to report suspicious/illegal activity observed while working in a customers premise. Qwest Communication(my employer) declined to have their employees act as Govt agents. MediaCom CATV company advised their employees to do such reporting.
I am very careful who is allowed in my house.

When Senator Joseph McCarthy urged the citizens to do this against communists, it was considered the rantings of an ego-maniacal, paranoid, alcoholic lunatic.
Now that we have communists serving as advisors to the President, obviously the priorities are a little different and this strategy is acceptable.
