It is unclear whether Fox was the victim’s boyfriend or husband. “They had a large-sized hole in the side of the trailer,”
Weird!

How could someone not notice a drunk loading a cannon? And secondly, not thinking that perhaps you might want to reccomend some other form of entertainment for him? Good lord. Talk about being unaware of you're surroundings. For what purpose was he loading it? To shoot a mouse off the counter? Unbelieveable!

This makes me nervous. Some of our neighbors down the road have recently taken up artillery as a hobby. Hope they keep that thing pointed in a safe direction...

I sent this to my dad and let him look at it. I was born and raised down in San Diego. So we know a little about San Diego. This is the reply my dad sent me back. Once he looked it up he knew right where it was.
I looked this up. it is located on old hwy 94 campo road.. just out past where you turn off to go to Tacate.
red neck place for sure... ;-)

Depends what you define a cannon as.

How does that relate to your definition of a cannon?

I quoted part of the article in post #2. I noticed they edited it out of the story after that.

Will the next big headline be "Flying anvil destroys ex-truckdriver's roof in Tennesse"?

He used powder that he got from fireworks. Just how long did he sit there emptying black cats.
Why not just buy some pyrodex. I used to do some service work at a ranch where the ranch foreman had a cannon made from a WWII bofars barrel. He would shoot at a steel plate 400 yrds away accross a canyon. Its impressive looking at the holes in that plate.
