what was the reasoning behind........

anyone know the reasoning behind phasing out the m-20 3.5 inch rocket launcher (bazooka) ? i heard from some ww2 and korea vets at the vfw here that it was an awesome weapon! i liked the LAW when i was in but it was light in the britches to be taking after a tank! but it made a great tree trimmer!

the old Bazooka was To bulky and heavy and complicated
The law was smaller lighter and easier to train sombody to use.
cheaper too
I think there was ordinance shelf life problems also.
