Ballbearing were you gone LOL.That was the shortest I'm gettin outta here I have ever seen. Reminds me of when I was a kid and lived in Illinoise, and the Cubs Joe Pepitone retired from first base. He was only gone for a month LOL. Good to have you back. But let me tell you, ya goin about this all wrong. Ya gotta do little things like thinkin throughout the day. I have a thinkin log I go out and sit on between piddlin around the house. Then I got a new thinkin place. Way back on my property I have 11 railroad ties stacked up in a stairstep pattern for a bullet backstop. I go way out there and plop my butt down and just sit there and look around, watch the birds, and listen to that dam cat howel out in the woods.
Just wait till you retire LOL. Then you get to look for stuff to do. I watch the grass grow wanting to mow it. I have found a new adventure tho. You ever see an old man climb a tree? Aint as adjile as I use to be, I use a ladder now. Glad no one has a camera. Anyway, good to see you back.

Reminds me of that time when my ex-girlfriend broke up with me pledging she never wanted to think that I ever existed - only to come back after 4 days. She realized she can't live a minute without me and the more she tried to stay away, the more miserable she became.
I must say those 5 days took a short term and personally it is good to see you back.
I have a letter tucked away that I never posted. It is direct and to the point
talking about Freedom of Speech and saying bye to all my Friends,Veterans,
Non Veterans and Family..I will always go back when I need some air,read the letter and probably will never post it.........
It still makes me feel better, when needed I open it up and read...
Living in this New World is extremely hard for me, but I ain't leaving the site or the world anytime soon. I just may vanish for a few hours or a few days..
Ballbearing, You left for 5 days and came back due to boredom. Now do you see how we here on G&G light up your life? And a last note and thought on you leaving. Don't let it happen again LOL. Admit it, you just can't live without us. Even if it was only 5 days we all missed you.
Welcome back buddy! I'm glad the thought of never talking to all of us again was too much to bear! No matter how ruffled your feathers get, eventually they will settle back in place and all you gotta do is take a deep breath! I upset a LEO my first year here, and he threw the book at me! I figured it was time to go, and gave him a public apology and said I'd do the fade. Next thing I knew, folks were telling me not to go because of a thin skinned feller who couldn't take criticism that wasn't even directed his way. So I try to watch my manners and my mouth, and get along with everyone, no matter what. Sometimes I'm not too good at it, but at least I try. And I'm man enough to apologize if the need arises. It sounded to me like you just had enough of the liberal talk, and needed a break, so you took it and now you're back! Good enough, don't let it happen again! Maybe you haven't realized it, but you've made a lot of friends here who care enough to tell you how they feel! And let me tell you how precious friends are, and how long it took to find them right here on G&G! Wait, that's another story and too long to deal with here. So again, welcome back, you made a bunch of us happy campers this morning!
