If they have a mini-cam & mic strapped to them, they are part of Bunny Wabbit's spy network. Of course, it's doubtful you'll see these; she trains them in covert recon really well.

A baby cottontail is about 1½" at birth. They grow one inch per week. When they are four inches, they are big enough to be on their own.

Get some alphalfa. They love that stuff and will eat it before anything else. Plus it fattens them up, it's good for them in the winter when there isn't much food.

Really? We have wild rabbits in our neighborhood, nearly every yard has a resident bunny or two. Drives our Beagles nuts when I take 'em for walks. I've often wondered what I could put out there for them to eat, I'll have to remember that. We currently have a baby one about 6-7" that eats the seeds under the bird feeders.

That's what I used to pick when I had some about 2 weeks and older. They inhale that stuff. You should see a litter of them when they get grass for the first time. Like a little bunch of hairy bumble bees swarming.

There used to be a rabbit "problem" in the house I currently live in. They had set up camp out back in the wood pile. My dog however has long since chased them off. Makes my neighbor happy as his garden is now not being gobbled up by an unstoppable hoard of unde... I mean rabbits.
