Only one local station played it acouple years back, andonly for a short time. I loved the song, then finally found out Sting sang it - seemed out of character for him.
I actually got to meet him back when I was doing the airport security gig (LONG before the TSA took over!) - a local house was used for an MTV promotion for a guy who won a party for him and a bunch of 'friends'. Sting and "Downtown Julie Brown" were the celebrity guests. Right after Sting's motorcycle crash, so I carefully put his silver-trimmed walking cane and metal-encrusted leather jacket through the X-ray.
He seemed a pretty decent fellow. Last flight of the night, and they were tired and just wanted to get on the plane and get home.
