Sometimes it is not that the pain goes away but that it does not worsen.

There is nothing in this world that will constipate me. (except seeing Nancy Pelosi's face maybe). anyway, I've been through enough surgeries, used to it.

That's what I thought and said too,. Anything with codeine will bind you up. I've had 15 surgeries so far, and every time I've been bound up. I just drink a bunch of Metamucil after taking the med, and things usually work out ok. I've been on vicodine, darvon, morphine, and now tramadol, and to some extent, they all messed with my exhaust system.

With my back issues, I've been taking Vicodin for a year now. Doesn't seem to bother me, I'm quite regular. Maybe even more so. Now Percocet, that stuff keeps me awake.

I had it prescribed for me once when I broke a bone. I liked it way, way too much. I'll stick with beer, thank you.

Doc gave me a new pain med last year for my torn tendon, Nucynta, didn't mess my head up and dealt pretty well with the pain.

They should just add it to the drinking water.... then my paychecks will be less painful....

The only thing Vicodin does to me is make me crabby. Ibuprofen and Aleve kills the pain just as well with me.

Had 4 wisdom teeth pulled by Army Dentist & had Steak that evening for supper & took nothing but Tylenol. I have been shot twice & stabbed once, slammed to the ground on my face by an ATV, and other cuts, scrapes, & abrasions, and have never taken pain killers, ie; Vicodin and such............

That would have the opposite effect on me - I'd be having stuff come out of every hole in my body while convulsing uncontrollably on the floor.
