Run For The Wall

Any G&G members on the ride this year or previous years? One of my brothers from Houston and his son from Allen, Tx. joined in this morning from Grand Prairie, Tx. They were to leave Grand Prairie at 9:00 AM and ride to Monroe, La. today....

Thanks ChaZam, but I can do my own running.

Just kidding of course. It's a great cause.

I wish my body could take it, because they would be the fellas who would understand and support the tears and grief during the visit to the Wall. Maybe someday my wife and I can make the trip on FOUR wheels, and participate.

I'm still working on ten laps around the block.
Keep in shape, getting it back hurts.

That is the problem. If I'm on my feet very long everything gets to hurting, and there's no getting rid of it. I guess it's time to go see the doc again, much as I hate to.

It strikes me that instead of going all the way to DC, they coulda gone to The Wall South in Pensacola, Florida and seen the new memorials there...
including the new Marine Corps Memorial that was just completed
