improvised tools that actually worked!

im not talkin bout your wife using your new wood chisle to open a paint can, what improvised tool have ya used that actually worked great with no damage to the tool or whatever you were working on? my best one is i bought a rifle at a gun show once and the crown was badly damaged, instead of cutting the barrel i cut a new crown using the cutter from a lee case sizer! worked great!

Making something work for somewthing it was never intended to do. Its pure genious. How many times have I tried to fix stuff without the right tools.
Or, as they say, necessity is a mother

Thumbs up

Once when shooting my SKS, the front sight needed tweaking. My front-sight tool broke! Luckily, the nipple wrench for cap&ball revolvers worked! Similar design, just a tad bigger.

Duct tape (or Duck Tape down south) - the ultimate improvisational tool. Is there anything it can't do?
