I was just discussing his passing with one of my daughters who is an aspiring author too.
I enjoyed the quote in the article by his grandson: "He was the biggest kid I know,"
And also this quote by Mr. Bradbury himself: "The best description of my career as a writer is 'at play in the fields of the Lord.' It's been wonderful fun and I'll be ****ed where any of it came from. I've been fortunate. Very fortunate," he said.
Rest in Peace Sir. I miss the Ray Bradbury Theater and your contributions to the Twilight Zone. Thank you for leaving some movies that can be enjoyed for years to come.
You made my life richer through your stories, and made me think bigger things and ideas. May you rest forever in Heaven, after all the fine works you provided for curious young minds. God Bless, and say hello to the fellers for me.
I spent a lot of time on Mars becasue of Ray Bradbury. I tend to get lost in stories. Kind of like your really there. Another of my favorite SciFi authors gone.

It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
I loved his novels as a kid. Really got my imagination going. I always thought the pictures of robots on his novels looked like blast furnaces (or vice versa) -- for a little kid looking at the steel mills of Pittsburgh fired up and in their glory on a dark night could be pretty scary !
Rest in peace, good friend
