I have never seen one of these before; A true piece of US military history.

$2500? PAID $67.50 FOR MINE IN 1954 FROM YE OLD HUNTER. WAS STILL THREE WEEKS PAY.

The bolt looks familiar. I am not big on a recoiling barrel on a rifle, though. I looke at many of the pictures and drawings on the site, bur can't make out the magazine. Is it detachable?

its a ten round rotary magazine, non-detachable.
