I know what you mean we just had a local horror story here dog vs. 3yo kid in critical condition.

My 7 week old Grandson is watched over by a Bull Mastiff. The dog better know you if you want to touch the baby or you'll be pulling back a nub.

My two Pits used to be the best baby sitters we ever had when it came to our grandchildren. They would get really protective of the kids when strangers came over........."Don't touch our little humans"
