Cool Duh.....of course not!

I'm really surprise Arnie won but, though he is a poor example of a repub, he is still a repub so, for that I'm thankful. Now, if he will change the law on ferrets(sp.?), he'll fit right in with all those PC wienies! "Everything must be provided for the people!" Arnie, on the campaign trail!

i am glad for one thing, that the people voted not for a party but for the man. here in oklahoma most people i know vote straight line democrat or republican and they know next to nothing about who their voting for. i believe that we would all be better off if there were no parties and we just voted for the person and their views and beliefs. but i guess that would be way too much thinking for the adverage voter...it seems they need the party to tell them how to vote.

I used to live in okalahoma and they had a saying: "An Okie is just a Texan that's ashamed to admit it!" I don't know what that was supposed to mean, maybe Okies are "better" than Texans? Heck, i don't know. but, the problem with your lament is that the politico's could never be trusted. What they say really means nothing. They say what you want to hear then, they thumb thier nose at you and do what they think will continue to get them re-elected. And, then, the voter, being basically brain dead and brainwashed, votes them back in each time because the average voter is stupid and the elected politico does not fear the voter. Politics 101 as taught
by Rufus Rhastus Johnson Browne!
Ps. Your idea does sound like a good idea! Wish it would work!
